She did not set out in this life thinking she would be single at sixty, but like so many others in today’s technologically afflicted world, even with the advent of online dating platforms, finding a life partner is proving equal to a search for the holy grail.
Beyond the Box
Spiritual awakening is a process of developing new eyes and a new way of being in relationship with this world. It calls you to question all that you believe and all that you once held as truth. It teases you away from the main streams and begs examination of the tributaries that feed into their currents. Water, water everywhere… Are you the rain drop or the ocean? Who are you?
Postmortem on Happy
Ask most people what they are looking for out of life and most will answer that they just want to “be happy”. Ask those same people if they have achieved it and you will likely get a reply that resembles “I will be happy when….”. We keep chasing rainbows but never seem to find the elusive pot of Skittles. Skittles – the ultimate happy pill? Wait now…that is gold.
Requime for ’18
I am grateful for the abundance of gifts this life has afforded me and I am curiously optimistic for the year ahead. There are rumblings on the other side of the veil that have yet to reveal themselves fully but you can be assured that in true dhar fashion, when the time comes for action, I will be ready to leap. Until then, there is comfort in the stillness… Wishing you all a very Joyous, Prosperous, and Loving New Year!
